Leigh Sinclair will be exhibiting in Oriel Fach. Leigh says;

In these works I have begun to consolidate many themes that have fascinated me over the years. 

Central themes to the work are Allegory, pattern, line & colour. I use these elements to construct semi abstract images where lines converge & colours flatten.

Through the confusing layering of these elements opportunity arises to create dynamic passages of pattern where abstract and figurative elements jostle for opportunities to be realised & understood.

It was my intention to make paintings that were both literal & non literal, allowing layers of meaning to be added as the viewer observes & engages with the works."
